Duke’s Waikiki is a vibrant dining destination that offers a unique Hawaiian experience. Despite the bustling crowd, our reservations ensured a seamless start to the evening (reservations are a must!). The staff were exceptionally friendly and efficient, adding to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. We were fortunate to have an ocean-view table, and the cool ocean breeze paired beautifully with the live music, creating a lovely ambiance. The restaurant's lively atmosphere makes it a fantastic spot for a celebratory or social evening, though perhaps less ideal for a quiet, romantic dinner due to the noise levels. As for the food, we started with the Waikiki Hot Wings, which were flavorful and a perfect appetizer. For the main course, we sampled a variety of dishes, including the Furikake Ahi Steak, Teriyaki Sirloin, Wild Mushrooms and Spinach Ravioli, and the Huli Huli Chicken. Each dish was well-prepared, with the sauces being the standout feature—they truly elevated the flavors. For dessert, we shared the Hula Pie, a decadent and delicious treat with a portion size generous enough for sharing. We also had the Duke’s Mai Tai, and it didn’t disappoint. Portion sizes reflect fine dining standards, and so do the prices, but the overall quality and experience justify the cost. While the lively noise level was a slight drawback, the fantastic food, friendly service, and beautiful setting make Duke’s Waikiki a place we’d happily return to.

Dukes provided an exceptional experience! The stunning ocean view was breathtaking, and the atmosphere was enhanced by a delightful breeze and beautiful decor. The drinks were robust, which added to our enjoyment. Moreover, the bartenders and waitstaff demonstrated outstanding customer service, making us feel welcomed and well taken care of. We were so impressed that we spent hours there and returned twice during our vacation. Highly recommend Dukes for anyone seeking a fantastic dining experience!

Duke’s is everything you’d want in a Hawaiian dining experience! We first went for lunch and loved it so much, we came back a few days later for dinner. The Hawaiian-style casual vibe, paired with a fresh selection of fish and steak, made every meal memorable. We were seated right by the beach, and hearing the waves while enjoying dinner truly added to the island feel. The outdoor atmosphere was absolutely perfect: relaxed, breezy, and so scenic. And let’s talk about dessert... their Hula Pie is a bomb! Sweet, creamy, and the perfect way to end a beachside meal. If you’re looking for island favorites with an unbeatable view and delicious food, Duke’s is a must-visit!

Duke’s Waikiki is a fantastic spot with an inviting and laid-back vibe. The ambience strikes a perfect balance between relaxing and lively. The waitresses were incredibly friendly and helpful, making the experience even better. The food was absolutely delicious—especially the fries, which were perfectly crispy and flavorful. It’s a great place to unwind, enjoy a good meal, and soak in the island atmosphere. Highly recommended!

The breakfast buffet was well worth it. Great selections and high quality. Service is friendly and prompt. As far as the atmosphere, you're on the Hawaiian beach with a spectacular view, so not much more to say.

We sat on the patio closest and facing the ocean so the atmosphere was wonderful. Our young waitress was attentive and always had a smile to help make our dining experience a good one. The food was excellent...especially the desert. Fantastic place. Would definitely visit again.

This place is everything you've heard about. Great food, amazing atmosphere and strong drinks! You better have a reservation as it is packed! Wife & I went for our anniversary. We made our reservation a month in advance and there were only later time slots open. A little expensive, for 2 people we spent 125, but everything was worth it. Also great live music nightly to add to the atmosphere. Great dessert! Try the Hula pie!

One of the BEST waterfront restaurants on Waikiki Beach! It's a tropical vibe and exactly the atmosphere you want for sunset. The Mai Tai is incredible. You have to try the coconut shrimp! They know how to make some well crafted beach cocktails here! Service is fast and friendly, and they have live music to compete the relaxing feel of the place. They seem to always be busy, but worth a stop by even if it's just for a drink at the bar. Most of the sunset cruises leave right off of Waikiki Beach in front of the restaurant, so it's a great place to stop before you get on the boat.
